Engr. Bong Fomujang Matthew Jr Anchimbom is a formally registered Civil Engineer with the National Order of Civil Engineers (NOCE) of Cameroon, holding registration number 26-4350. He completed his rigorous academic training at the National Higher Polytechnic Institute (NAHPI) of the University of Bamenda, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Civil Engineering in July 2023. The pinnacle of his undergraduate career was his capstone research project, which involved the comprehensive structural conception and design of a proposed G+3 library for the University of Bamenda, demonstrating his early capacity for handling large-scale, multi-story institutional design.
Matthew’s professional acumen is backed by a robust sequence of hands-on academic internships completed between 2020 and 2023 across both public and private sectors in Cameroon. He gained invaluable municipal engineering insight working with the Bamenda City Council and sharpened his technical field skills through structured placements at KIT Construction, EDGE Construction, and KENDELY Construction. Throughout these field roles, he masterfully bridged theory with practice by directly supervising technicians, performing building setting-out, executing masonry and plumbing works, conducting onsite material surveys, and executing geotechnical laboratory soil tests and road construction frameworks.
Since August 2023, Matthew has served as a core Civil Engineer and Head of the General Secretariat at Group Tesla @TN Engineering Co. Ltd. In this dual administrative and technical capacity, his responsibilities span from managing active construction sites and developing detailed project cost estimates to executing high-fidelity architectural 3D modeling and renderings. Furthermore, he actively applies advanced engineering software suites—including CYPECAD, SCIA Engineer, and Autodesk Robot—to perform complex structural and geotechnical analyses, ensuring safety and compliance across all company projects.
